Okay, so maybe 3 stars is a bit low since the problem is really that I didn't do my homework prior to this purchase ... Let me explain.
I purchased an AVIC-z120bt unit and this to go along with it ... Well, this unit isn't compatible with the Pioneer unit to display the "Station Artwork" like I want it too. (XM is, but Sirius is not) Again, I should have done my homework on this, but it's frustrating that it says "For Pioneer units" when really it should say "Not compatible with Units xxx, xxx, etc for Station Art"
O well, it works --- I just wish I would have known more before I installed this. So, if you are reading this -- don't make the mistake I did --- Find out if you specific unit will do EVERYTHING you want it too BEFORE you by this little gem.

I had the oldest sirius tuner in the world i believe from when it first came out. I upgraded my deck to the Pioneer about a year and a half ago and was tossing the idea back and forth about whether or not to spend the money on this kit. One day I figured what the hell. It really cleaned up the inside of my truck, and works 100% more efficiently over the tuner I previously had.
ONLY downside is that Sirius charges you $16 to change receivers on your account.

I bought TWO of these now for my Pioneer 4400BH unit. Neither worked. I began to think was my unit. I called Pioneer and they stated that the issue I was having was due to the SCC1 unit. TWO wouldn't work. The units were both professionally installed but did not work. They were stuck on channel 205 (a nonexistent channel) with no sound. I changed wires around and all. Its pretty self explanatory and not difficult. So I called Sirius and their technical support is ridiculous. They are clueless. They said I need to activate the unit, which I did (and had to pay when the item STILL didn't work). They kept asking me to press menu on the unit (they couldn't comprehend that I have an aftermarket stereo and not a standalone unit). After all this garbage I just requested a full refund.
Do yourself a favor, get the XM receiver. I bought one and it worked the first time, easy instal (I did myself this time as I was sick of paying/wasting my money for faulty units). I have been a Sirius user since day one. Never ever thought of leaving them but there are two issues:
1. The fact that I bought two of these units that didnt work.
2. The fact that the Sirius displays one line of text while the XM has four lines showing genre, station, album artist, and song or however you want it displayed.
**You get the same channels if you buy XM's $17.99/mo plan. I had the Sirius plan that was basically the same thing. If you buy this you get all the main channels from Sirius that I grew to love such as Sirius NFL, Howard Stern, Octane, Lithium, and etc. On top of all the XM channels that I really don't use but they are there. You have all the channels that you wanted to listen to on Sirius (I mean there is almost 200 channels in the package). I don't listen to regular radio so it was worth it to me. But like I said, now that Sirius and XM merged you can get the same programming so don't bother with Sirius' system here when you can buy the XM equivalent for cheaper and better display. Any questions let me know and I can answer if you want to know the difference, also go to Sirius' website and it will show you all the channels. Good luck!!
