Between a radar detector, phone charger, and GPS, my car was filled with 12v plugs and splitters. I've since went to the "two usb in one 12v" adaptor plugs (you can find them on Amazon) and run my phone and my sat radio in one of those plugs.
It also works if you have a radio with a USB input, you can plug this in your radio, and run your sat radio off your deck, without using the bulky sat 12v adaptor.

My original sirius onyx power cord snapped and I purchased this item as a replacement. I was concerned at first that the wire looked much thicker than the original, but it works great. I paired it up with a belkin micro charger and it looks even better than the original. The cord is short, which works well for me in my 2007 prius with a vent mount, but it wouldn't have worked for a window mount. Definitely measure the distance you need to cover. For me a shorter cord looked even nicer. Shipping took longer than I would have expected with Amazon Prime's "2 day" shipping. I think it took 4 days? Not terrible, but longer than I would expect. Item was packaged well and new.

This power cord for sirius xm receivers is the best on the market. I have a dual usb plug that plugs into my car's 12V DC. I have this and a standard micro usb for my phone. The cord is a perfect length and works very well. The Standard cord which comes with the unit is big bulky and too much cord, which over two years shorted out. Now I have this and love it. I would recommend you buy this product instead of using the one that was shipped with the unit. It was less than $5 and came with free shipping. The standard shipping stated it would take 7-10 business day to receive the part. I got it in only 2 days after ordering it. I was very happy about the quick shipping and how great the power supply part works.
