I have my Xm Onyx installed in the small storage bin in front of my shifter. I can close the lid & keep it out of sight when not in use. However, it also means leaning forward & having to reach downward to change the channels etc. This remote now allows me to drive and make changes while keeping my eyes on the road. It works out of the package & almost every button performs some function (top row does nothing for me). I initially though mine was broken until I pushed the "XM" button. I find myself doing more channel surfing with this handy little remote. I really cannot complain since this was not specifically designed for my Xm receiver.
Pros: works without programming, cheap, small footprint, cheap.
Cons: has a limited range, no back lighting.

Works with XM Onyx, not all buttons have function, but has a nice additional ability to mute the XM receiver unit (careful on this, may mistakenly think the XM unit broke). also has a fm button to change the fm station for those using the fm modulation system.

Worked great with the onyx radio that I have. For the price this was a great purchase. Would recomend it.
