People should be aware that you can no longer create new Sirius accounts. You should also know that you can't use this tuner with a "Sirius-Ready", "XM-Ready", or "Satellite-Ready" radio and that it works only with newer radios that have the "SiriusXM" logo. The reason for this is you no longer have to purchase a tuner made for a specific brand. This tuner is universal and works with any brand. This is a big plus should you decide to change radio brands in the future because you can still use the same satellite tuner.

The unit is great i installed it with a DUAL XDMAR6720 car stereo.. Install was a breeze, but thed one thing that is not stated is that the unit is the part that has the siriusxm radio ID. This ID is an XM ID so if you have a sirius account you can not combine them at this time, and because you can not comibe them you can only get a one time one year curtisy multiple radio discount at this time. The unit works great and siriusXM is working on resolving the other issue. As previously stated this radio does not have the pause rewind feature also, but no big deal, I got my old reciever off the dash LOL. Here is the siriusxm link to find the compatible radio list. If you buy this at most retailers, there is a 50 rebate bringing the total price down to 20. If you buy from Amazon, that rebate isn't valid.
I replaced a Sirius Connect kit with this. The Sirius kit worked perfectly and almost never dropped the signal. With the new antenna in the same spot as the old one, this constantly dropped the signal. The only saving grace was that I could use my factory XM antenna with this tuner. Only then could I get a reliable signal.
