Originally had my XM installed "professionally" but the mount came unglued and fell apart less than one month after installation. Found the Arkon cupholder mount on Amazon via a simple internet search. It looked like a workable option. Order was delivered promptly. Took less than five minutes to install and has functioned quite adequately over the past two months.

The product works well and was easy to set up. However, all cup holders are not created equal. I have a Dodge Ram 1500 with a fold-down cup holder and am using the mount in it. The cup holder is a little flimsy (on my truck) and the product is holding steady in the truck cup mount. I wish I could shorten the length of the gooseneck but it's not a problem. This would work perfectly in a car with a center console and cup holders molded into the console.

I recently got a new (to me) Nissan Versa hatchback. I mounted my satellite radio on the dash and had my TomTom GPS suction mounted on the left corner of the windshield. Wires everywhere! It looked like a bad spaghetti accident on the dash.
The cup holder mount solved the problem beautifully. The prongs that fit into the cup holder have a rubber surface and are adjustable via a screw mechanism so the mount can be tweaked to fit firmly in the holder and the rubber helps it to stay where it is put. Mine has shown no signs of movement since I put it in. The radio now sits just below the car radio on the right side and the power and antenna wires are tied to the gooseneck with a zip tie and run down under the console out of sight. The Aux in wire runs up the dash a few inches to the jack but does not look bad. I was able to put my RAM GPS mount on the plate that came with the cup holder mount and put the GPS on the original satellite radio mount on the dash above the radio. I still have the GPS power cord in sight but it is now out of the way and not obtrusive.
This solution is not as elegant as a $600-1200 radio with built in GPS and satellite but it works for me and for $10 plus shipping it is hard to beat.
